Cameo.
Hey there! I hope you guys are doing great. The weather is abnormally good here in Paris for this time of the year, so we've been out to the flea market on saturday. I found loads of new inspirations, and fell in love with these mother-of-pearl buttons. The colour combination with the blue cardboard reminded me of a cameo.

Lepidoptera.
Good morning! I just finished this drawing. Pieter gave me the idea of a butterfly when I show him this gorgeous old image that I found at the Clignancourt market. It took me quite a while to create and paint it, but it was, as always a very pleasant time for me, I like doing gouache so much! :)

Correspondance.
This letter was written in 1917 and I have no idea what it all means but I find it so nice, and such a good background for gouache! Some more work very soon! A bientôt!

Calendrier.
I found this 1895 calendar in a market in Geneva (I've been living there for a few months this year) and it inspired me to create this pavé diamond iris.

Post-it war.
There's been a funny trend going on in Paris this summer. The workers at
Ubisoft (video games company) started using post-it like pixels to
create little characters. Then, the other company in front of them, BNP Paribas
responded by trying to design even better characters, and the thing spread
out to other companies all over the city. It was very nice for summer
workers like me to walk around the city and see all those creative
things. So here's my humble contribution to this game. Mine is actually
not inspired by video games, or cartoon, but by cross stitching. XXX

That's another of my jewellery inspired artwork. Cabochons, diamonds, lace and old paper, these are a few of my favorite things :D

Nathalie Cahuzac. Sunlight.
My best friend Nath's got real musical talent, you must check out her cool video clip shot in Spain. She's super pretty, and I love the vintage mood of this video. It was recorded on a super 8 camera.
